MY G(A)LINDA RANKINGS
These are all the Glindas that I’ve heard or seen enough of to acctually get a good judge of their performance (or actually seen a full performance of). This is by no means a definitive list, justly opinion. Nor is it all the actresses to play Glinda, so if there’s an Glinda you think is missing from my list tell me I’d love to hear anyone new! Also if you have any thoughts or comments, agree, disagree, think I’m full of s***, etc. I’d love to discuss it or hear your thoughts.
(top 10 in picture)
TOP 5: 1. Megan Hilty 2. Annaleigh Ashford 3. Louise Dearman 4. Alli Mauzey 5. Katie Rose Clarke
GREAT: 6. Kristin Chenoweth 7. Dianne Pilkington 8. Christina DeCicco 9. Helene Yorke 10. Lucy Durack
REALLY GOOD/GOOD: 11. Lucy Scherer 12. Natalie Daradich 13. Lindsay K. Northen 14. Erin Mackey 15. Sarah Earnshaw
EH: 16. Jennifer Laura Thompson 17. Sandra Lee Shwartz 18. Laura Woyaz
NOT A FAN: 19. Kendra Kassebaum 20. Kate Reinders 21. Helen Dallimore
So that’s my list. It subject to change if course. Tell me what you think!

8 different Glindas performing Popular.

I wish I could have gone to see each of them on-stage.

It was like being approached by a decorated holiday tree tiptoeing in jeweled slippers.  Lady Glinda was the most exceedingly dressed person Liir had ever seen.  He almost flinched, but knowing that Lady Glinda had been a friend of Elphaba’s stiffened his nerve. Son of a Witch, Gregory Maguire, 82

Craning, Liir could see a woman leaning her hips against the carved stone balustrades of the balcony.  The light from the ballroom fell on her golden hair, which was swept up on her head in a bubbly mass of curls hooped by a diamond tiara.  He couldn’t see how old she was, nor her expression, for her face was turned away.  She was trim and fit, though her shoulders were slumped—grief, or despair? Or boredom? She dabbed a handkerchief at her nose. Son of a Witch, Gregory Maguire, 67
